Job summary

StarHub Ltd. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to maintain scalable, secure AWS infrastructure and automate deployment pipelines using Jenkins.

You will optimize system performance, ensure high availability, and drive cloud-native improvements in collaboration with software and platform teams. Responsibilities include managing containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS), implementing robust monitoring, and promoting DevOps best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, EKS).
• Strong experience in CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Solid understanding of system administration, networking, and security best practices.
• Experience in scripting or programming (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, reliability, and availability.
• Implement and enforce security, access control, and operational best practices across environments.
