Job summary

StarHub Ltd. is seeking an Application DevOps Engineer to drive end-to-end delivery for cloud-native platforms in Singapore. You will design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot, and manage OpenShift/Kubernetes deployments with CI/CD via Jenkins.

You will also implement RESTful APIs, review code for security, and build runbooks and technical docs to support daily operations and on-call incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in developing enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift for deployment.
• Hands-on Jenkins and CI/CD best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Manage OpenShift/Kubernetes deployments and CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
• Implement RESTful APIs with security and performance in mind.
• Review code and ensure security standards and disaster recovery practices.
• Create and maintain API specifications and runbooks.
