Job summary

StarHub Ltd. is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and the Spring Boot framework. You will build RESTful APIs and ensure their performance, security, and reliability in a containerized OpenShift/Kubernetes environment.

You will work with Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines, write clean code, review peers, and help shape the architecture toward loose coupling and high cohesion while ensuring compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust microservices using Java, Spring Boot.
• Implement RESTful APIs and ensure performance, security, and stability.
• Develop and manage services deployed on OpenShift/Kubernetes with Dockerfiles and K8s configs.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot services in OpenShift environments.
• Contribute to architectural design emphasizing loose coupling and high cohesion.
• Perform security vulnerability scans (SAST/DAST/SCA) and participate in disaster recovery drills.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
