Job summary

Tangspac Consulting Group in Singapore seeks a seasoned Desktop Engineer to provide hands-on desktop, EUC and software support for banking users in a dynamic environment. You will drive incident management and root‑cause analysis to ensure continuous operations.

Collaborating with infrastructure, network and application teams, you will deliver high‑availability services and support patches, upgrades and configuration management in a fast-paced financial setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in desktop engineering, systems engineering, or end‑user support within banking or financial markets.
• Good working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and user administration.
• Experience supporting Ms Office, Office365, Teams and SharePoint.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on desktop, EUC and software support for banking users
• Perform incident management, root‑cause analysis, and timely escalation for critical issues.
• Ensure high availability of desktop and systems infrastructure to end users
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and application teams to provide high availabile services
• Support patching, upgrades, deployments, and configuration management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in desktop engineering, systems engineering, or end‑user support within banking or financial markets.
• Good working knowledge of Active Directory,Group Policy and user administration
• Experience supporting Ms Office, Office365, Teams andSharePoint
• Ability to troubleshoot desktop, laptop, mobiledevice and peripheral issues
• Good understanding of networking fundamentalsincluding TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and Wi‑Fi
• Ability to troubleshoot complex, time‑sensitive issues under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management across front‑office and technology teams.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a proactive, service‑oriented approach.
