Job summary

WPP Media is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Strategy to drive regional data initiatives across APAC and support AI strategy for Greater China. You will synthesize first‑party and external data into actionable audience strategies, enabling effective activation across campaigns and guiding governance.

The role blends regional leadership with hands‑on data work and cross‑border collaboration. You will partner with local and global teams, including Google stakeholders, to ensure scalable AI

Qualifications

• 5+ years in media, advertising, data strategy, audience strategy, or related field.
• Experience applying first-party and external data to media strategy, audience development, planning or activation.
• Experience leading capability-building or transformation workstreams across teams or markets.
• Strong understanding of the Greater China media landscape; experience supporting China and Taiwan is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize data into actionable audience strategies for APAC campaigns.
• Advise on application of first-party data across strategy, planning and activation.
• Drive adoption of first-party data capabilities through training and practical support.
• Translate data capabilities into guidance, playbooks and repeatable workflows for media practitioners.
• Track regional progress and provide APAC reporting into global first-party data initiatives.
• Localize AI workshops and training for cross‑functional teams.
