Job summary

Capital Group seeks a Senior Data Engineer III to ensure stability and reliability of production data platforms. You will build monitoring, automation, and observability across the data ecosystem, partnering with data product, engineering, and platform teams to drive improvements and resilient systems.

You will maintain end-to-end pipelines, implement data quality checks, and lead incident response with a focus on reducing downtime and improving service levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in production data operations and SRE practices.
• Proficiency with data platforms, pipelines, and observability.
• Strong incident management and RCA abilities.
• Ability to translate incidents into engineering improvements.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration across product, platform, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational health and reliability of production data platforms.
• Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Lead incident response, triage, and postmortems to drive fixes.
