Job summary

ALSHIFA PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced chef to lead daily kitchen operations and ensure dishes meet established recipes and standards.

You will supervise junior staff, manage food preparation, monitor quality and presentation, and maintain strict hygiene and safety across all work areas. This role requires a minimum of five years in the F&B industry and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes following established recipes and restaurant standards to deliver consistent, high-quality meals.
• Deliver food preparation and service promptly to meet customer expectations and enhance satisfaction.
• Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking procedures to uphold quality and safety standards.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize waste.
• Manage proper storage, handling, and stock rotation of food ingredients to maintain freshness and comply with safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment, workstations, and food preparation areas to meet health regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering kitchen supplies and ingredients to prevent shortages and support continuous operations.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by management to support overall restaurant operations
