Job summary

Ali's Prata Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced kitchen professional to prepare and cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and restaurant standards.

You will oversee daily kitchen operations, supervise junior staff, ensure food quality, safety, and presentation, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high hygiene and stock control. This role requires strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to work shifts including weekends

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant environment.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation practices.
• Ability to prepare a variety of dishes while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Experience in supervising or guiding kitchen staff is an advantage.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Responsible, reliable, and committed to maintaining high food quality standards.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper storage, handling, and stock rotation of food ingredients.

• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and workplace safety requirements.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by management.
