Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Law, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in contract management within the construction industry.
• Proven track record in leading contract teams and managing tenders for large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction law, procurement practices, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in contract management software and the MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the contracts team to achieve project goals.
• Allocate resources and ensure high performance across contract administration and tendering.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Maintain contract records and document registers; ensure compliance with terms.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve contractual issues.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards; mitigate risks.
• Manage claims, variations, and dispute resolution processes.
• Direct tendering and business development activities for new projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to develop competitive bids.
• Oversee project budgets, cash flow, and financial performance related to contracts.
• Provide commercial advice to senior management and project teams; ensure invoicing and payments.
• Engage stakeholders and represent the firm in negotiations and industry forums.
