Job summary

XIN YANG DEVELOPMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Manager in Singapore to independently manage construction activities, interpret technical drawings, and coordinate with client representatives.

You will lead site workers and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery according to project plans. The role requires hands-on expertise in tiling, bricklaying, plastering, welding, and aluminium/glass installations, plus a minimum 8 years of construction experience.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on proficiency in tile laying, bricklaying, plastering, welding, and related installations.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction activities and site progress to ensure timely project delivery.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and project requirements in daily operations.
• Supervise structural and architectural works while coordinating with client representatives.
• Lead site workers and subcontractors to execute on-site tasks per project plans.
• Demonstrate and enforce workmanship techniques and quality standards for tile laying, bricklaying, plastering, welding, and installation of aluminium panels and glass.
• Identify and resolve on-site design and construction issues promptly to maintain workflow continuity.
• Enforce compliance with specified quality standards across all work performed.
• Implement and adhere to the work plan issued by the Project Manager to align site activities with project goals.
• Prepare daily progress reports and update work schedules to track and communicate project status.
• Oversee on-site quality control and ensure occupational health and safety compliance.
• Participate actively in project coordination and progress meetings with stakeholders.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties relevant to Site Manager role as required.
