Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Construction Director for complex renewables and transmission projects in Southeast Asia. The role provides independent governance, leadership, and performance management across onshore, marine, and subsea workstreams, coordinating multiple EPC/EPCI contractors to ensure safety, efficiency and alignment with project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is required.
• Proven leadership in senior construction roles on large capital projects.
• Experience with EPC/EPCI contractor management and multinational teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead PMC construction activities across Solar PV, BESS, Transmission, and Subsea Interconnector assets.
• Establish construction governance, standards, procedures, and reporting frameworks.
• Provide strategic leadership to site construction teams and align project execution with field activities.
• Oversee safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all construction works.
• Manage and challenge contractor execution strategies, resource plans, and recovery schedules.
• Lead construction readiness reviews and ensure resources and schedules are prepared.
