DayOne Data Centers Singapore Pte. Ltd. invites a seasoned Commissioning Director to lead testing and commissioning across multiple regional data center projects.

This senior role demands strategic thinking, extensive project management experience, and strong team leadership. You will build and execute testing strategies, ensure safety and standards, coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and clients, and serve as the primary technical advisor during commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced leadership roles
• Minimum of 10 years leading data centre testing, commissioning, and operations
• Proven track record in leading large teams and complex projects
• Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure including HVAC, power, and network operations
• Excellent project management and multi-project leadership capabilities
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with relevant software and tools used in testing and commissioning processes

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of testing and commissioning engineers and technicians.
• Develop and implement testing and commissioning strategies for the region.
• Oversee the testing and commissioning process for all data centre projects in the region.
• Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and clients to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality.
• Develop and enforce rigorous testing and commissioning protocols.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
• Review and approve test plans, reports, and commissioning documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the testing and commissioning team.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Resolve complex technical issues during the testing and commissioning process.
• Serve as clients' primary point of contact during commissioning phase.
• Present test results and commissioning reports to clients and stakeholders.
