Crystal Jade Fine Dining Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Wok Department Chef to lead and elevate our Cantonese/Teochew kitchen operations. You will master wok techniques, mentor line cooks, and collaborate with the Head Chef to ensure top-tier service during peak hours.

Responsibilities include ingredient ordering, quality control, inventory coordination with the Restaurant Manager, and strict adherence to safety and food handling procedures.

Formación

• Must have at least 8 years of experience in traditional Cantonese/ Teochew cuisine.
• Extremely high quality standard oriented chef to satisfy local and international guests.

Responsabilidades

• Manage all wok department work and master techniques.
• Guide and teach line cooks to improve cooking techniques.
• Work closely with Head Chef during services.
• Order ingredients, inspect, and accept purchased ingredients.
• Prepare and process raw ingredients, cooked food and cold dishes.
• Store and use ingredients in storage spaces and refrigerators.
• Coordinate with Restaurant Manager on inventories, delivery accounts and food costs.
• Supervise department staff; monitor dosage and quality of ingredients.
• Ensure staff follow procedures; inspect facilities and equipment (gas switch, burners, fire equipment).
• Complete tasks assigned by Executive Chef/ Head Chef.
