Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a Business Development professional to promote Singapore as a leading MICE destination for association conventions, congresses and meetings.

You will collaborate with cross-divisional teams to create a robust calendar of non-profit events in biomedical and healthcare sectors, gather market intelligence, and pursue local and overseas development efforts with stakeholders and STB offices. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• MS Office experience.
• 3-5 years of working experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish a pipeline and robust calendar of non-profit or association events in the biomedical and healthcare sectors.
• Gather and analyse market intelligence data to boost Singapore's competitiveness in attracting business events.
• Undertake local and overseas business development activities with not-for-profit stakeholders, MICE intermediaries and STB Regional Offices.
• Bid for conventions and meetings to build a pipeline of association conventions.
• Support conventions and meetings sector growth by implementing industry developmental initiatives.
• Lead key industry alliances.
• Role involves travel.
