Job summary

Singapore Tourism Board is seeking a Business Development professional to position Singapore as a premier MICE destination for association conventions, congresses, and meetings. You will craft a robust calendar of non-profit events in biomedical and healthcare sectors and work with cross-divisional teams and STB offices on competitive bids.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of working experience.
• Analytical ability and strong writing skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong business development or customer account management experience.
• MS Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop Singapore as a leading MICE destination for association conventions, congresses, and meetings.
• Build a pipeline and calendar of non-profit or association events in biomedical and healthcare sectors.
• Collaborate with cross-divisional teams, not-for-profit stakeholders, MICE intermediaries, and STB Regional Offices on bids.
• Travel for conventions and meetings to grow the sector and lead industry alliances.
