Job summary

Maybank is seeking a seasoned Business Analysis Leader to bridge Business and Technology, co-create requirements, and drive wealth and transformation initiatives across the bank. You will co-lead discussions, define requirements, and guide delivery to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

You will partner with senior stakeholders to shape target operating models, oversee solution design, and manage end-to-end delivery in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, IT, CS, engineering or finance with professional certifications advantageous.
• 8–10 years in business analysis, technology consulting or transformation advisory in banking/FS.
• Strong understanding of banking products, customer journeys and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Business and Technology teams, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle from demand initiation through implementation

Job Requirements

• Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline. Professional certifications in Business Analysis, Agile, Scrum, Project Management or related fields will be advantageous
• At least 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Technology Consulting, Technology Delivery, Business Partnering or Consulting roles within the Banking or Financial Services industry
• Strong understanding of banking products, customer journeys, digital platforms and enterprise systems, with exposure to Wealth Management, Retail Banking or Community Financial Services being highly desirable
• Proven ability to engage, influence and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Business and Technology functions
• Experienced in facilitating strategic discussions, challenging and refining business requirements, and translating business needs into practical and effective technology solutions
• Prior experience in management consulting, technology consulting or transformation advisory engagements involving business transformation, operating model design, process optimisation or strategic initiatives will be an advantage
• Structured and analytical problem solver with sound judgement, capable of navigating ambiguity and driving discussions towards clear decisions and outcomes
• Proactive, self-driven and comfortable managing multiple initiatives concurrently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both business and technical audiences
• Collaborative team player with a customer-centric and business-focused mindset, coupled with a passion for transformation, innovation and continuous improvement.
