Job summary

SUNLINE TECHNOLOGY (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks a Senior Business Analyst to translate banking requirements into clear functional specs, guide stakeholders, and drive standard product capabilities with minimal customisation.

You will support presales, perform FAT/SIT/UAT coordination, and collaborate with Product, R&D, Sales and Delivery to ensure high-quality solutions for financial services clients.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in requirements gathering and business process analysis.
• Familiar with banking systems, core banking, digital banking, payments, lending or related services.
• Experience in presales, RFP responses or POC support is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyse customer business requirements, identify pain points, and translate needs into clear functional requirements.
• Manage customer expectations and guide clients toward standard product capabilities to minimise unnecessary customisation.
• Prepare, maintain and update FSDs, requirement specifications, gap-analysis reports, user manuals, training materials and test cases.
• Conduct requirement walkthroughs, coordinate internal and external reviews, and drive timely customer sign-off.
• Support QA, FAT, SIT and UAT activities, including test planning, test-case preparation, execution, issue tracking and quality monitoring.
• Work closely with customers to strengthen system understanding and support effective UAT preparation and execution.
• Consolidate common requirements across projects and work with Product Management and R&D on product enhancement and continuous iteration.
• Support presales activities including product demonstrations, customer Q&A, POC execution, RFP responses and initial solution preparation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders while maintaining proper documentation, version control and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Working Experience requirement:

• Senior: At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Functional Consulting, Banking Technology, or similar roles.
• Experience in banking systems, core banking, digital banking, payments, lending, deposits, or related financial services is highly preferred.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, functional documentation, and preparation of FSDs.
• Familiar with software delivery and testing processes such as FAT, SIT and UAT.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, understand business pain points, and translate them into practical system requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams including Product, R&D, Sales, PMO and Delivery teams.
• Experience in presales, RFP responses, POC support or solution demonstrations will be an advantage.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken; additional language capability would be an advantage.
• Exposure to AI tools for documentation, analysis or productivity enhancement is a plus
