Job summary

BeathChapman Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Senior Business Analyst to lead analysis on complex cross-functional initiatives in the national security and public-safety sector. The role blends hands-on delivery (70%) with strategic input (30%), and includes coaching junior BAs and shaping the BA practice.

You will run workshops, translate needs into testable requirements, model processes, and drive UAT through go-live with data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in business analysis, product delivery or digital transformation.
• Strong requirements gathering, process modelling and workshop facilitation.
• Hands-on with SQL and Excel; experience with Jira, Confluence, Miro or Lucidchart.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and UAT.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and conflicting stakeholders.
• Public sector or security-domain experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery through workshops and interviews; frame the real problem.
• Turn ambiguous needs into testable requirements: user stories, flows and specs.
• Balance stakeholder priorities using evidence and data.
• Map current and future state processes; push for structural improvements.
• Use SQL, Excel and dashboards to inform recommendations and measure outcomes.
• Validate ideas with prototypes, pilots and PoCs; lead UAT and go-live.
• Coach junior BAs and help grow the BA practice across the team.
