Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with backend focus.
• Proven experience in high-performance, low-latency systems.
• Strong PHP/Laravel expertise; Node.js and Next.js experience preferred.
• Experience integrating trading platforms via FIX APIs.
• Familiarity with AI-native engineering workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Trading Platform Architecture & Integrations: architect and own futures trading platform integrations (Rithmic, CQG) and low-latency data flow.
• Risk Systems & Rule Engine Development: build configurable rules and abuse detection for futures.
• Backend Performance & Data Optimization: tune queries and design scalable schemas for logs and risk data.
• Squad Leadership & Stakeholder Management: lead delivery, reviews, and cross-team coordination.
• AI‑Native Engineering & Development Workflow: apply AI coding agents to improve productivity and quality.
