Evolution Singapore is expanding its engineering team and seeks a Senior C++/C# Software Engineer to help build the next generation of its enterprise risk platform. The role offers exposure to high-performance, low-latency systems in a global financial services environment.

You'll work on multi-asset risk engines, data management platforms, and APIs, collaborating with quantitative developers, traders, and platform engineers to deliver scalable risk and market data solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience developing in C++ and/or C#.
• Experience building or enhancing risk engines or risk platforms within financial markets.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and system integration.
• Experience with Redis or similar in-memory data stores would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.

Senior C++ / C# Software Engineer (Risk Platform) Global Financial Services Leader | Singapore

Salary Range: 220,000 to 250,000 base plus bonus

A global financial services leader is expanding its engineering team and is looking for an experienced C++ and/or C# Software Engineer to help build the next generation of its enterprise risk platform.

This opportunity is ideal for engineers with a strong background in either modern C++ or C#, particularly those who have built or enhanced risk engines within capital markets. Whether your expertise is primarily C++ or C#, you'll work alongside a highly experienced engineering team building low-latency, business-critical systems supporting multiple asset classes.

The Opportunity

Depending on your background, you'll contribute across one of two core platform areas:

• Developing and enhancing a multi-asset risk engine, primarily in C++, integrating closely with quantitative libraries and distributed systems.
• Building and evolving the firm's data management and View Hub platform in C#, creating high-performance data services and APIs that power risk and trading applications across the business.

Both teams sit close to the trading business and quantitative developers, giving engineers significant ownership and exposure to complex technical challenges.

What We're Looking For

• Strong commercial experience developing in C++ and/or C#
• Previous experience building or enhancing risk engines or risk platforms within financial markets
• Good understanding of cross-asset trading environments
• Experience integrating with quantitative or pricing libraries
• Knowledge of distributed systems and system integration
• Experience with Redis or similar in-memory data stores would be advantageous
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, performance optimisation and clean architecture
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with both technical and business stakeholders

Ideal Background

We are open to candidates from either profile:

• Senior C++ Engineer / Director level with deep C/C++ expertise and exposure to C# integration.
• Senior C# Engineer / Associate Director level looking to step into a Director-level role, with experience building enterprise data platforms, analytics services or risk management applications.
