Job summary

Webot in Singapore is seeking a backend developer to design, build, and optimize the company's risk control system for efficient monitoring and prevention. You will contribute to a real-time risk engine, implement risk rules, model calculations, anti-fraud detection, and related functionalities.

You will improve data collection, cleaning, and computation processes, develop risk strategy management tools, and ensure high availability and low latency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, FinTech, or related fields.
• At least 1 year of backend development experience; experience in risk control systems, payment systems, or anti-fraud systems is preferred.
• Proficient in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Go, Python) with strong coding practices.
• Familiar with middleware such as MySQL, Kafka, Redis, and Elasticsearch.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design, development, and optimization of the company's risk control system to achieve efficient and stable risk monitoring and prevention mechanisms.
• Participate in building a real-time risk control engine, including the development of risk control rules, model calculations, anti-fraud detection, and other functionalities.
• Design and optimize data collection, cleaning, and computation processes to enhance data processing capabilities.
• Develop risk control strategy management tools based on business needs to improve the flexibility and adjustability of risk control strategies.
• Continuously monitor system performance, optimize system efficiency, and ensure high availability and low latency.
