Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive the sales function across Singapore and export markets, delivering targets and profits. You will develop and execute sales strategies, forecasts and plans to meet business objectives, and lead, coach and develop a team to achieve assigned targets.

This role requires hands-on field sales, regular dealer visits, and close collaboration with Service, Product and Logistics teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience managing a sales team of 5+ members.
• Strong B2B sales experience with a proven targets track record.
• Hands-on and comfortable with regular customer/dealer visits and field sales activities.
• Experience in industrial machinery, equipment, engineering, automotive, construction or other technical products preferred.
• Experience with machinery/equipment manufacturers or trading companies advantageous.
• Experience in the power tool industry is not required.
• Strong business development and relationship management skills.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence.
• Willingness to travel overseas when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales function across Singapore and export markets, driving sales and profit targets.
• Develop and execute sales strategies, forecasts and plans to achieve business objectives.
• Lead, coach and develop a sales team to deliver assigned targets.
• Conduct regular dealer visits, customer meetings and field sales activities.
• Develop new customers, dealers and business opportunities across various industries.
• Engage end users such as construction sites, factories, hotels, landscaping companies and other workplaces.
• Promote products, new launches and solution-based sales approaches.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitor activities and pricing.
• Oversee export sales performance and work closely with the Export Sales Manager.
• Support major business opportunities, distributor discussions and key customer negotiations.
• Work closely with internal teams including Service, Customer Service, Product and Logistics.
• Report directly to the Managing Director.
