Beca Carter Hollings & Ferner (S.E. Asia) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Audio-Visual (AV) Consultant to lead design, planning and delivery of AV solutions across corporate, educational, hospitality and government sectors.

You will work with project teams and clients to shape high‑performance AV ICT systems that enhance communication and collaboration. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll manage concept to completion, contribute to business development and stay ahead of AV

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in ICT/Engineering/Audio Visual or related field.
• CTS / CTS-D / CTS-I certifications preferred.
• Dante Level 1-3, Crestron, Extron or AMX certifications.
• PMP is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of AV consultancy experience or minimum 5 years in AV industry with manufacturer or System Integrator.
• Understanding of AV software, control systems, and audio processing tools.
• Experience in acoustics design or stage lighting will be an advantage.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam or similar tools will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with IP networking, structure cabling and IT-AV integration will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients and project teams to understand AV needs and requirements.
• Develop conceptual and detailed designs for AV systems including audio, video, control, conferencing, digital signage and unified communication.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings and design documentation.
• Create detailed AV system design documents such as BOM, layouts, schematics and technical specifications for meeting rooms, conference spaces and other workspaces with AV needs.
• Recommend suitable AV hardware and software solutions aligned with project goals and budgets.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to AV systems.
• Assist in budgeting, tender documentation and procurement support.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and assist clients with tender evaluation.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery and implementation of AV solutions.
• Liaise with Architects, MEP consultants, Interior Designers, IT teams, contractors and AV integrators to ensure seamless integration and installation.
• Oversee system testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Perform site inspections and ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards and local practices.
• Provide training to end users and ensure proper documentation for system operation and maintenance.
• Conduct post installation reviews and resolve technical issues.
