Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in ICT/Engineering/Audio Visual or related field.
• CTS/CTS-D/CTS-I certifications preferred.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years AV consultancy experience (or 5 years in AV industry) with design/implementation exposure.

Responsibilities

• Design and Consultancy: understand AV needs, develop concepts and detailed designs for AV systems.
• Project Management & Coordination: assist budgeting, tender docs and procurement, monitor progress and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Testing, Commissioning and Handover: oversee testing, site inspections, training end users and handover documentation.

## Audio-Visual (AV) ConsultantApply: Hybrid: Singapore: Full time: Posted Today: JR102389**The Opportunity**We’re currently recruiting for an Audio-Visual (AV) Consultant to join our Singapore team and become part of a network of over 400 Building Services professionals across the Asia Pacific.The AV Consultant will be responsible for driving the design, planning and delivery of AV solutions, while contributing to business development and organizational growth.You will be working with a diverse client base on a variety of projects, delivering sustainable and high-performance building solutions that shape Singapore’s built environment. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, take on both technical and leadership responsibilities, and contribute to the successful delivery of key projects.With a strong pipeline of work ahead, you'll join a team that values innovation, expertise, and professional growth.**About You**As an AV Consultant at Beca, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing audio-visual systems for our clients. You’ll collaborate with project teams, clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality AV ICT solutions that enhance communication and collaboration for some high-profile developments in Singapore.You will also be responsible for providing expert advice, planning and coordination of AV systems for a variety of environments including corporate, educational, hospitality, government and entertainment facilities. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of AV technologies, strong communication skills and experience in managing AV projects from concept to completion.**Responsibilities** **Design and Consultancy**● Engage with clients and project teams to understand AV needs and functional requirements● Support and develop conceptual and detailed designs for AV systems including audio, video, control, conferencing, digital signage and unified communication● Support in the preparation of technical specifications, drawings and design documentation● Support in the creation of detailed AV system design documents such as presentation decks, Bill of Materials (BOM), layout plans, schematics and technical specifications for meeting rooms, conference spaces and all other workspaces with AV requirement● Recommend suitable AV hardware and software solutions aligned with project goals and budgets● Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to AV systems through continuous engagements with major/key industry players.**Project Management & Coordination**● Assist in budgeting, tender documentation and procurement support● Evaluate vendor proposals and assist clients with tender evaluation and negotiations● Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery and implementation of AV solutions● Liaise with Architects, MEP consultants, Interior Designers, IT teams, contractors and AV integrators to ensure seamless integration and installation.**Testing Commissioning and Handover**● Oversee system testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.● Perform site inspections and ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards and local practices.● Provide training to end users and ensure proper documentation for system operation and maintenance.● Conduct post installation reviews and resolve technical issues.**Key Requirements** **Qualifications**● Diploma or Degree in ICT/Engineering/Audio Visual or a related field.● Relevant certifications preferred as follows:o CTS / CTS-D / CTS-I (Certified Technology Specialist – AVIXA)o Dante Level 1-3, Crestron, Extron or AMX certificationso Project Management (PMP) is an advantage**Work Experiences**● Minimum 2 years of audio-visual consultancy experience or minimum 5 years related working experience in the audio-visual industry with manufacturer or System Integrator (SI) in designing and implementing AV systems● Understanding of AV software, control systems, and audio processing tools● Experience in acoustics design or stage lighting will be an advantage● Experience in tools eq, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam or similar will be an advantage● Familiarity with IP networking, structure cabling and IT-AV integration will be an advantage**Key Competencies**● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail● Proficiency in English for technical writing and presentation● Client-oriented, consultative and client-facing abilities● Ability to work independently and collaboratively**What we offer**A career with Beca will provide you with:* **Flexibility & Wellbeing**: We recognise that achieving a work-life balance is unique to everyone.
