Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking a Design Engineer in Singapore to transform customer needs into actionable AV system designs and detailed documentation. You will partner with Account Managers to understand requirements, assess risks, and communicate with stakeholders to drive successful proposals and projects.

Responsibilities include developing design packages, producing BOMs and diagrams, and coordinating with vendors and contractors to ensure feasible, accurate designs for project execution.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Managers to translate requirements into functional system designs.
• Explain design concepts to clients and demonstrate how proposed systems meet needs.
• Provide labor estimates and material requirements for proposals.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive design standards for large accounts.
• Create detailed system documentation (BOMs, diagrams, infrastructure plans).
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to align designs with constraints.
