Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Singapore is seeking a Senior Sales Specialist – Asset Connectivity (AC), Grid Automation to drive growth across Singapore and selected ASEAN markets. You will develop and execute sales strategies for Asset Connectivity solutions, engage utilities, EPCs, and industrial customers, and lead solution discussions, workshops, and negotiations to secure profitable opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years of sales/business development/account management in power/utilities/grid automation sectors.
• Proven experience selling complex technical solutions to utilities, EPCs, and industrial customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth for Asset Connectivity across Singapore and ASEAN markets.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans for utilities, EPCs, industrials, and key partners.
• Identify, qualify and pursue new opportunities while maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
• Lead customer engagement activities: presentations, workshops, solution discussions, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with solution architects, presales, proposal teams, and business units to develop winning solutions.
• Support bid/no-bid decisions and ensure opportunities are accurately managed in CRM.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, regulatory developments, and customer investment plans.
• Establish and strengthen relationships with utility stakeholders, consultants, channel partners, and industry influencers.
• Deliver accurate sales forecasts and contribute to regional growth strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy policies, processes, and HSE requirements.
