Job summary

Hitachi Energy Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive sales strategy and business development in Singapore. You will maintain Salesforce plans, monitor progress, and pursue growth opportunities through an established customer network.

You will lead negotiations and prepare technical/commercial proposals, coordinating with bid and marketing teams to ensure compliance and end-to-end sales execution. Fluent English and Chinese are required.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering or related discipline with sales/marketing experience.
Minimum 10 years of sales/business development experience in energy/electrical industries.
Proficient in Salesforce.
Excellent verbal and written English and Chinese communication skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain Salesforce plans, monitor progress and adjust tactics to meet targets.
Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategy and pricing.
Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers to expand Singapore market.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals coordinating with bid and marketing teams.
Lead contract and purchase order negotiations and manage sales administration in Salesforce.
Ensure compliance and smooth transition of contracts to project management; train internal teams.
