Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced technical support professional to join our financial services team. The role focuses on Level 2/3 production support for high-sensitivity environments and post-trade systems.

You will work with AS/400, RPG and CL, DB2/400, and MQ, coordinating upgrades, integrations, and disaster recovery while ensuring regulatory compliance and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in technical support with trading or financial services apps.
• Expert-level AS400 systems administration and development.
• Strong DB2/400, SQL, and data mapping for financial transactions.
• Knowledge of capital markets, post-trade settlements, and custody.
• Experience with high-availability, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with SWIFT messaging and MQ integration.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Interest in financial markets.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/3 production support for financial environments across global sites.
• Design and maintain AS400 modules using RPG and CL.
• Manage OS upgrades, LPAR configs, and patching for stability.
• Enhance AS400 with new processes for performance.
• Lead design of post-trade applications for matching, settlement, payments.
• Automate post-execution tasks including trade booking and settlements.
• Integrate legacy AS/400 apps with modern platforms via APIs or MQ.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and disaster recovery compliance.
• Coordinate testing, approvals, deployments and post-deployment verifications.
• Generate reports and perform ad-hoc data analysis.
• Monitor performance and proactively address issues.
• Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned.
