Job summary

Bond Financial Group is seeking an Applications Lead to own architecture, engineering standards, and fullstack delivery. This senior, player‑manager will contribute hands‑on development while guiding the team and advancing the organisation's ISO 27001:2022 compliance program.

You will define the tech stack, enforce secure SDLC practices, lead API design and data flows, mentor engineers, manage sprint delivery, and ensure 24x7 incident readiness.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in fullstack software engineering with 3+ years in tech lead/architect roles.
• Experience building enterprise systems using modern backend and frontend frameworks.
• Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architectures, secure SDLC practices, and API gateway patterns.
• Exposure to regulated industries (fintech) and ISO 27001:2022 advantageous.
• Experience managing software development vendors or third-party providers.

Responsibilities

• Own system architecture, technology stack decisions, and API standards.
• Lead hands-on fullstack development across backend and frontend; design RESTful APIs.
• Oversee containerisation, cloud-native deployment, and data flows; ensure AI-assisted coding governance.
• Manage sprint delivery, backlog prioritisation, and on-call incident response.
