Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd. is seeking a senior technical leader to guide a team of application developers responsible for corporate banking solutions. You will shape the technical roadmap, set architecture standards, and ensure scalable, secure delivery across the SDLC.

You will mentor engineers, promote Agile best practices, and collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate business needs into robust software solutions within a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading and managing application development teams within the financial services sector, corporate banking.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and cloud platforms.
• Deep understanding of modern database technologies, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience leveraging AI-powered engineering tools to improve productivity, solution design, code quality, testing and operational efficiency.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering complex, scalable, and secure enterprise-grade software solutions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of application developers to design, build, and deploy robust corporate banking applications.
• Drive the technical roadmap, system architecture, and design patterns to ensure scalability, security, and high performance.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile methodologies, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to organizational coding standards, security guidelines, and regulatory compliance requirements.
