Job summary

Qdrant is a remote-first company expanding across Asia-Pacific, seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to be the technical authority in enterprise deals. You will own technical strategy from first prospect call to production deployment, collaborating with Account Executives to close deals across APAC.

You will design high-scale vector search architectures, serve as a trusted advisor for AI infrastructure decisions, and build reusable PoCs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pre-sales or solutions engineering in data infrastructure or systems architecture.
• Experience designing or operating distributed systems, search infrastructure, or data pipelines at production scale.
• Ideally hands-on experience with RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) pipelines and broader AI stack.
• Familiarity with MEDDICC/MEDDPICC and applying it to real deals.
• Strong ability to explain ROI to CIOs and translate technical decisions to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy in enterprise deals from first call to deployment.
• Act as Technical Account Manager for a portfolio of enterprise customers in APAC.
• Design vector search architectures for high-scale workloads and multi-tenant systems.
• Build PoC systems that customers take to production and demonstrate performance advantages.
• Advise on AI infrastructure decisions and migration from legacy databases.
• Contribute to field engineering knowledge base with reference architectures and guides.
