Job summary

Red Hat Asia-Pacific PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an AI/ML Engineer to design production-grade solution blueprints and open-source Quickstarts, partnering with customers and ecosystem partners to resolve high-stakes operational bottlenecks in APAC.

You will drive end-to-end AI/ML architectures, benchmark performance, and ensure secure, scalable deployments in enterprise environments, with growth defined by technical impact rather than management duties.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related quantitative field.
• Strong software engineering foundations: clean code, TDD, CI/CD, Git workflows.
• Clear English communication to explain architectures to engineers and stakeholders.
• Proficient Python for ML and systems programming; familiarity with Go or C/C++ preferred.
• Deep learning libraries: PyTorch, Hugging Face transformers, datasets, tokenizers.
• Cloud-native: experience deploying containerized apps on Kubernetes in production.
• Base MLOps knowledge: model serving lifecycles, data ingestion, packaging.

Responsibilities

• Enterprise-minded blueprinting: design production-grade architecture blueprints and reference codebases.
• Open-source AI Quickstarts: package architectures as open-source projects to accelerate adoption.
• Co-development & integration: collaborate with external teams for stable integrations across stacks.
• Benchmarking & evaluation: add automated testing, telemetry, latency, throughput, and cost metrics.
• Regulated & secure design: ensure data privacy, secure perimeters, and local hosting where required.
