Job summary

Flintex Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Airfreight Customer Service Executive in Singapore. The role focuses on handling key customer accounts, managing quotations, and supporting sales operations to drive profitable growth.

The candidate should independently manage customer requirements, lead quotation strategies, and progressively take on a full SOE role within the team. 9-to-6 style hours apply, with focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years experience in airfreight / freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of airfreight operations, pricing, and airline coordination.
• Proven experience in quotation handling and customer servicing.
• Familiar with Singapore Customs permits (XO, OD, etc.) is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and handle key accounts.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for key customers on airfreight inquiries.
• Handle end-to-end quotation (RFQ, ad-hoc, project shipments) with competitive pricing strategy.
• Liaise with airlines, co-loaders, and vendors to secure best rates and space.
• Follow up on quotations and drive conversion to confirmed bookings.
• Provide market insights (rates, capacity, peak season trends) to customers and internal team.
• Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and accounts for smooth execution.
• Support and work closely with Sales / SOE team on business development and account management.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively manage exceptions.
• Maintain accurate records in system (e.g., Shipthis).
• Mentor junior team members when required.
