Job summary

EA Recruitment PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated accounting professional for the fixed asset function based in Singapore. The role involves managing asset capitalisation, depreciation, transfers, disposals and write-offs, while ensuring accurate asset registers and monthly audit schedules.

You will coordinate with the Shared Service Centre, monitor budgets, and prepare management and intercompany reports. Experience with ERP systems and external audits is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Possess minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly fixed asset accounting and coordinate with the Shared Service Centre on asset capitalisation, depreciation, transfers, disposals and write-offs.
• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register, movement reports and monthly audit schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor capital expenditure against approved budgets, process asset-related documentation and ensure proper asset tagging and record keeping.
• Coordinate annual fixed asset budgeting, depreciation forecasting and rental asset stocktake, including investigation and reconciliation of variances.
• Prepare monthly management reports, quarterly intercompany reporting packages and monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Prepare quarterly reports for submission to Caterpillar and liaise with external auditors on fixed asset and intercompany matters.
• Support process improvements, ERP system implementation and other finance-related projects as required.

Job Requirements:

• Possess minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance or equivalent qualification.
• Possess minimum 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with exposure to fixed asset accounting.
