Job summary

corestaff pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the Group's accounting and financial functions while providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.

The role requires a CPA/CA preferred and at least 10 years' experience in accounting, auditing and financial management, with strong knowledge of Singapore statutory requirements in construction and/or property development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline; CPA/CA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing and financial management.
• Construction and/or Property Development industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting, taxation and statutory requirements.
• Experience in Group consolidation, financial reporting, budgeting and cash flow management.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and strategic analysis, including project feasibility studies, due diligence and cost-benefit analysis.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, management and planning across the Group.
• Prepare annual budgets and present financial plans and analysis to Management and Shareholders.
• Prepare monthly financial performance and variance/bridge reports with insights into budget vs. actual.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business and investment decisions.
• Oversee preparation and review of financial accounts and consolidated Group accounts.
• Coordinate annual statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements (ACRA, IRAS, BCA, URA).
• Manage external relationships with auditors, company secretaries, bankers, tax authorities and advisors.
• Develop and review accounting policies, procedures and the Group's Accounting & Financial Manual.
• Review processes and implement improvements to strengthen financial controls and efficiency.
• Identify financial and operational risks and mitigation measures.
• Provide coaching and training to team members and conduct internal training.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline; CPA/CA qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing and financial management.
• Relevant experience in the Construction and/or Property Development industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting, taxation and statutory requirements.
• Proven experience in Group consolidation, financial reporting, budgeting and cash flow management.
• Strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to translate financial information into actionable insights.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
