ANTARA KOH PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a Senior Finance Leader to oversee financial operations for Singapore, Malaysia, and Myanmar entities, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis.

The role requires a Chartered Accountant and at least 10 years' experience in construction finance, strong knowledge of job costing, internal controls, and regulatory reporting; you will liaise with auditors, tax agents, and the corporate secretary to ensure compliant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Chartered Accountant is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in accounting and finance within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, job costing, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis for multiple entities.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretary for local filings.
• Ensure timely GST and other tax/compliance submissions.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close and head office reporting.
• Collaborate with project teams to analyze performance and provide financial insights.
• Maintain internal controls and treasury operations including cash flow.
• Serve as corporate secretary and manage corporate secretarial duties.

Job scope

• Lead and oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis for Singapore, Malaysia, and Myanmar entities and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Liaise with external auditor, tax agents and corporate secretary in preparation of local tax filing and statutory financial statement for the Singapore. Malaysia and Myanmar entities
• Ensure timely submission of quarterly GST returns and commercial tax returns in Singapore and Myanmar entities respectively
• Ensure timely submission of quarterly GST returns and tax compliance
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure timely quarterly reporting for Head Office
• To collaborate with project teams to analyze project performance and communicate financial insights to the Board of Directors
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data
• To manage treasury operations including cashflow and performance guarantees
• To participate in budget preparation, monitoring and reporting the variance for the management
• To act as corporate secretary, manage corporate secretarial duties, including maintaining statutory records and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Chartered Accountant is preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and finance in construction industry (preferably with audit experience)
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, job costing, and financial reporting.
