Job summary

Your New Company in Singapore is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead accounting across multiple subsidiaries. You will manage P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow, drive multi-entity closings, and support group consolidation with intercompany eliminations and currency translation.

You will coordinate statutory reporting, audits, and regulatory filings across jurisdictions, leveraging IFRS/US GAAP knowledge. A Big 4 background and strong English/Chinese communication are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualification viewed favorably.
• At least 5 years of accounting and finance experience, including Big 4 exposure.
• Demonstrated experience managing accounting and reporting for overseas entities; multi-country operations and group consolidations.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-spectrum accounting for subsidiary entities: P&L, balance sheets, cash flow.

New Role

• Manage the full spectrum of accounting activities for subsidiary entities, including preparation and review of profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Lead month-end and year-end financial closing processes across multiple international entities.
• Prepare and maintain group consolidation schedules, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and consolidation entries.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, tax regulations, and filing requirements in the respective jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory stakeholders to support compliance and reporting obligations.
• Perform intercompany account reconciliations and assist in maintaining transfer pricing documentation and related processes.
• Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting frameworks such as IFRS or US GAAP.
• Facilitate and coordinate group and local statutory audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit queries and deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting processes, internal controls, and multi-entity accounting efficiencies.

Key Qualifications For Success

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent viewed favorably.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, including a foundation gained within a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Demonstrated experience managing accounting and reporting for overseas entities, including exposure to multi-country operations and group consolidations.
• Strong command of both English and Chinese, written and spoken, to effectively communicate with regional teams and stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and/or local GAAP, with experience working within complex group structures considered advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with ERP and accounting systems such as NetSuite, Sage 300, QuickBooks, or similar financial reporting platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while maintaining strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Prior experience within the cloud computing, data center, infrastructure, or technology sectors.
• Knowledge of intercompany accounting, transfer pricing frameworks, and cross-border tax considerations within multinational organizations.
