Job summary

Peoplebank Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to own accounting and reporting across overseas entities. The role covers full accounting cycle from month-end to group consolidation, with exposure to IFRS/US GAAP and cross-border accounting across multiple jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience (Big 4 a plus), solid group consolidation exposure, and fluent English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally with Big 4.
• Experience in group consolidation and multi-entity reporting.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.
• Knowledge of IFRS / local GAAP; ACCA/CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts for overseas subsidiaries, including month-end and year-end closing.
• Lead group consolidation, including intercompany eliminations, FX translation and consolidation adjustments.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations and support transfer pricing and cross-border accounting matters.
• Support consolidated financial reporting under IFRS / US GAAP / applicable local GAAP.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors and regional stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ensure timely statutory and tax compliance for overseas entities.
• Drive improvements in accounting processes, reporting and internal controls.
• Support ad hoc finance projects in a fast-growing, evolving environment.

Our client is a fast-growing Technology company headquartered in Singapore, with operations across multiple markets.

As the group continues to expand internationally, they are looking for an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join the finance team and take ownership of accounting and reporting activities across the group's overseas entities.

This is a broad, hands-on role suited to a well-rounded accounting professional with full-spectrum accounting experience and strong group consolidation exposure.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing the accounting cycle from full sets of accounts and month-end closing through to group consolidation and financial reporting, while working across multiple jurisdictions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage full sets of accounts for overseas subsidiaries, including month-end and year-end closing.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 background.
• Proven hands-on experience in group consolidation and multi-entity reporting.
• Experience managing overseas / multi-jurisdictional entities.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS / local GAAP; ACCA, CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in Technology, AI infrastructure or Data Centre is a plus.
