KURITA (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Accounting Leader to manage day-to-day operations, ensure SFRS-compliant reporting, and oversee tax compliance.

You will drive balance sheet reviews, project costing, and inventory controls while coordinating with auditors across jurisdictions. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience; 1–2 years in supervision.
  • Solid understanding of SFRS, GST, and local tax compliance.
  • Experience in group reporting, consolidation, and intercompany transactions.
  • Proficient in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP); manufacturing modules are a plus.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Excel and financial data analysis skills.
  • Attention to detail; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day accounting operations: AP, AR, GL, and cash flow management.
  • Prepare financial statements per SFRS monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Conduct regular balance sheet reviews and reconciliations.
  • Oversee project cost accounting: budgeting, revenue recognition, WIP, profitability.
  • Monitor manufacturing stock: valuation, production costing, inventory control.
  • Provide timely reports, insightful commentary, and actionable recommendations.
  • Coordinate GST, corporate tax, withholding tax, CPF with auditors and authorities.
  • Develop and lead the finance team; strengthen internal controls and SOPs.
  • Oversee year-end closing and liaise with external auditors across jurisdictions.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cash flow management.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
  • Conduct regular balance sheet reviews and financial reconciliations.
  • Manage project cost accounting processes, including budget tracking, revenue recognition, work-in-progress monitoring, and project profitability analysis.
  • Oversee manufacturing stock monitoring, including inventory valuation, production costing, and control of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Analyse financial results and provide management with timely reports, insightful commentary, and actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, corporate tax, withholding tax, and CPF. Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities during audits and reviews.
  • Develop and lead the finance team while enhancing internal controls, financial processes, and SOPs to support business growth and mitigate risk.
  • Oversee the year-end closing process and liaise with external auditors across jurisdictions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Solid understanding of SFRS, GST and local tax compliance.
  • Proven experience in group reporting, consolidation, and intercompany transactions.
  • Proficient in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP); knowledge of manufacturing modules is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
