is seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee the financial operations of overseas subsidiaries from our Singapore headquarters, bridging group finance with regional management and exposing you to international financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements across borders.You will own full-cycle finance, monthly closings, management reporting, audits, tax filings, and drive internal control enhancements while collaborating closely with the Group finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience with international exposure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle financial operations of overseas subsidiaries from Singapore HQ.
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements for overseas entities.

About the Role

Our client is a established technology group with international operations across multiple regions. They are seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee the financial operations of their overseas entities from their Singapore headquarters. This is a high-visibility role that bridges Group-level finance with regional subsidiary management, offering exposure to international financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives. The position is well-suited for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-border environment and is looking to take ownership of end-to-end financial operations at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full-cycle financial operations of overseas subsidiaries, including daily bookkeeping, approval of financial documents, and monthly closing procedures , ensuring accuracy and completeness in accordance with Group financial policies
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements for overseas entities, and provide analytical support for Group-level management reporting
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during Group audits, transaction due diligence exercises, and overseas entity statutory audits, supplying required financial data and documentation
• Manage routine tax filings and compliance activities in liaison with overseas tax agents, ensuring all overseas operations meet applicable tax and financial regulatory requirements
• Drive continuous improvement of financial accounting processes and internal controls for overseas subsidiaries, and actively support the Group's financial automation and digitalisation initiatives
• Collaborate closely with the Group finance team and overseas subsidiary management to deliver on cross-functional finance projects and ad hoc assignments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related discipline; professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience, with demonstrated exposure to international financial management across multiple jurisdictions
• Solid working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), with a basic understanding of Singapore's local tax and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese is required, as the role involves regular communication and documentation with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and counterparts based in China
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent financial platforms; candidates with additional experience in finance automation tools (is a bonus)
• Strong data analysis and logical thinking skills, with proven ability to communicate and coordinate effectively across departments and geographies
