Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Field Applications Engineer in Singapore. You will deliver expert technical support for microscopy, analytical, and digital solutions to semiconductor and scientific customers.

The role combines training, customer interaction, and cross-functional collaboration to drive product innovation. You will travel up to 40%, apply your semiconductor knowledge, and develop solutions that integrate advanced instruments into diverse workflows.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with hands-on instrument experience (SEM, TEM, FIB, FTIR, MS)
• Fields: Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, EE, or related
• Strong semiconductor physics knowledge and failure analysis
• Programming in Python, C#, or MATLAB
• Experience with automated workflows, data analysis, and system integration
• Excellent customer relationship management and communication
• Able to travel up to 40%
• Valid passport and driver's license
• Clean room experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support and innovative solutions to semiconductor and scientific customers.
• Develop and deliver training and technical presentations.
