Job summary

Bruker Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Application Scientist, Electron Microscopy to support our EM portfolio in Singapore and nearby regions. The role focuses on technical service excellence, system reliability, and successful customer onboarding.

You will conduct demonstrations and trainings, advise on performance, develop application materials, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Travel up to 40% is required; English proficiency is essential with Mandarin a plus.

Qualifications

Masters or PhD in Physics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
3–8 years in STEM, EELS and/or Cryo-EM experience; PhD okay with relevant research.
Hands-on experience with complex scientific instruments; strong instrumentation interest.
Excellent written and verbal English; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support pre- and after-sales applications in Asia Pacific.
Conduct demonstrations and trainings of EM hardware/software virtually and on-site.
Advise Sales and customers on system performance and suitability.
Prepare measurement reports and develop application materials with teams.
Support events and conferences to present Bruker EM solutions.
Collaborate with R&D, Ops, Service for product knowledge transfer.
Assist in troubleshooting and post-installation customer support.
