Job summary

REVUP CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive Field Service Engineer to manage service support across Singapore and Southeast Asia. You will combine hands-on troubleshooting with strong customer engagement for academic and industrial clients.

Responsibilities include on-site support, installation, commissioning, and training, with focus on FE-SEM/FIB and related instrumentation. Occasional weekend standby may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in field service, troubleshooting or maintenance of complex equipment.
• Experience with microscopy or semiconductor instruments is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues, perform maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Support sales and demonstrations for product adoption.
• Maintain service records via CRM and ticketing systems.
• Build relationships with customers through engagement and follow-ups.
• Promote service contracts, upgrades, and accessories for recurring revenue.
• Assist tier-1 accounts on uptime improvement projects.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive Field Service Engineer to manage service-related support across Singapore and Southeast Asia. This role combines hands-on technical troubleshooting with strong customer engagement, supporting both academic and industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support, installation, commissioning, and user training for equipment across Singapore and SEA

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, and perform regular maintenance, calibration, and repair to ensure optimal equipment performance

• Support Sales and PASS teams during product demonstrations and exhibitions

• Maintain accurate service records and documentation via CRM and ticketing systems

• Build strong relationships with customers through consistent engagement and follow-up

• Promote service contracts, upgrades, and accessories to drive recurring revenue

• Support tier-1 industrial accounts with projects to improve equipment uptime and reliability

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in field service, technical troubleshooting, maintenance, or repair of complex equipment

• Familiarity with tools such as Focused Ion Beam (FIB) systems, laser-based repair systems, or Electron-beam lithography tools is an advantage

• Technical knowledge of Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopes (FE-SEM) and FIB systems preferred

• Understanding of microscopes, optics, imaging systems, or scientific/industrial instrumentation

• Prior experience in semiconductor or industrial sectors is a plus; candidates from research backgrounds with clean room exposure are welcome

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams

• Open to occasional weekend standby support based on business needs
