Job summary

sggovterp is seeking an experienced professional to manage the operational readiness of security systems and estate-related matters at Jurong Island Checkpoint. You will oversee contracts, renewals, and tender processes to ensure continuity of operations.

Responsibilities include monitoring system performance, coordinating upgrades, and maintaining hardware/software to reduce failures. You will also lead vendor management, MOA/MOU tracking, and procurement activities for security infrastructure

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years in security system implementation, preferably with an electrical background.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to liaise with security vendors, government agencies, and departments.
• Good managerial, analytical, and report-writing abilities to support operational readiness management.
• Excellent coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders during maintenance, upgrades, testing, commissioning, and service recovery.
• Familiarity with contract administration, service level tracking, renewal planning, tender prep, and vendor evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational readiness of security systems and estate-related matters to ensure high system availability.
• Manage contracts including renewal planning and tender initiation to ensure continuity of operations.
• Monitor system performance, plan updates, and maintain hardware/software to minimise failures.
• Coordinate system enhancements for CCTV, Videowall, and PSIM, with future expansion in mind.
• Track MOA/MOU with stakeholders and oversee vendor services to meet timelines and standards.
• Provide SME support for procurement including tender prep, evaluation and contract issuance.
• Lead project management tasks at Jurong Island Checkpoint in collaboration with Planning Department.
