Qualifications

• Diploma or Nitec in IT or related engineering field.
• Technical CCTV and Access Control certifications recommended.
• 4–5 years hands-on experience.
• Strong understanding of: network connectivity, SQL databases, Windows Server, virtualization, door hardware, identity and access management, and video management software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point for maintenance-related issues.
• On-site troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of hardware, software, and network faults.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
• Replace faulty hardware, perform firmware upgrades, software patching, and system optimization.
• Coordinate with vendors for advanced technical support, bug fixes, and system updates.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize access control and video management systems.
• Support controller configurations, card readers, credential management, biometric authentication, and access permissions.
• Troubleshoot integrations between security subsystems and enterprise platforms.
• Ensure systems remain secure, stable, and operational in mission-critical environments.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules and maintain detailed technical documentation.
