Job summary

HRNET VENTURES PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced security systems technician to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive care for critical CCTV and access control environments in Singapore.

You’ll work hands-on with LenelS2 OnGuard, Genetec, Milestone, and related hardware, performing RCA, firmware updates, and vendor coordination. On-site rotation and after-hours support are expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Nitec in IT, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Technical certifications in CCTV and Access Control systems are highly recommended.
• 4 – 5 years of hands-on experience.
• Strong understanding of network, databases, Windows Server and IAM concepts, plus video management software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first and second-level escalation point for maintenance-related issues.
• Perform on-site troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of hardware, software, and network faults.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
• Replace faulty hardware, perform firmware upgrades, software patching, and system optimization.
• Coordinate with vendors for advanced technical support, bug fixes, and system updates.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize access control and video management systems.
• Support controller configurations, card readers, credential management, biometric authentication, and access permissions.
• Troubleshoot integrations between security subsystems and enterprise platforms.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules and routine system health checks.
• Prepare detailed service reports and maintain accurate technical documentation.
