An educational institution in Singapore is seeking a Teaching Specialist to deliver exceptional education in Chemistry or Math. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans and providing individualized support to students. A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field and proven teaching experience are required. As a Teaching Specialist, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional education and inspiring our students. Your key responsibilities will include:
Curriculum Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging, effective, and well-structured lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs and academic levels of students in secondary, junior college, and IB settings.
Student Support: Provide individualised support, guidance, and constructive feedback to students to help them understand complex concepts, overcome challenges, and reach their full academic potential.
Curriculum Enhancement: Collaborate actively with the wider education team to continuously review, improve, and innovate our curriculum and teaching methodologies, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
Record Keeping & Communication: Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, track progress, and provide timely, constructive feedback to both students and their parents/guardians.
Professional Growth: Actively participate in professional development opportunities, workshops, and training sessions to continuously enhance your teaching skills, pedagogical approaches, and subject matter knowledge in Chemistry or Math.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Specialist who meets the following criteria:
Educational Background: A relevant Bachelor's degree in Education or a specific subject area related to Chemistry, Math or Biology.
Teaching Experience: Proven experience in teaching secondary, junior college (JC), or International Baccalaureate (IB) setting.
Pedagogical Expertise: Strong pedagogical skills with a genuine passion for making learning engaging, accessible, and enjoyable for students of all abilities.
Continuous Learning: A strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the field of education. Mentorship programs are available to support your growth.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record of building strong rapport and positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Working Days: 6-day work week, comprising 4 weekdays and 2 weekend days.
Working Hours:
Weekdays: 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Teaching schedule based on roster).
Weekends: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
