Job summary

BURGER KING SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a procurement professional to manage supplier relationships, source products, and negotiate contracts in Singapore. The role collaborates with logistics and internal teams to ensure value, quality and timely deliveries, while monitoring supplier performance.

Responsibilities include building supplier networks, developing purchasing strategies, and handling invoicing and cost controls to support market needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules, and quality.
• Work closely with Warehouse inventory and logistics teams to create efficient workflows.
• Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers.
• Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers.
• Negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring contract management and the quality of service provided.
• Check invoices against source documents and correct any errors.
• Keep contract files and use them as reference for the future.
• Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities.
• Develop a purchasing strategy.
• Produce reports and statistics, review performance and identify cost-saving possibilities.
• Reconcile additional costs for inbound raw material logistics.
• Process any supply/logistics provider complaints.
• Control approved vendor list.
• Ensure suppliers are aware of business objectives.
• To be involved in bringing a product from concept or idea through market release and beyond.

Education

Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related subject

Requirements:
