Job summary

Staffhub Group is seeking to manage overall Supply Chain operations, including procurement, purchasing, and warehousing, to ensure continuous supply and efficient order fulfillment in Singapore.

The role focuses on sourcing suppliers, negotiating costs, maintaining inventory levels, and coordinating with Engineering/Warehouse to uphold quality standards and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 7 years relevant experience.
• At least 5 years working experience and exposure in both mechanical and electrical customized parts and components sourcing.
• Knowledge and skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Procurement: source and identify suppliers for direct/indirect materials/services and expand supplier base; obtain quotes and negotiate favorable terms.
• Purchasing: develop purchasing strategy to ensure on-time order fulfilment with minimum inventory; review and adjust strategy with market trends.
• Warehousing: manage warehouse team to ensure timely receiving and issuance of raw materials and order fulfillment; maintain inventory integrity.

Job description

Tomanage the overall Supply Chain operations in the company:

-identifying and qualifying supplier, source and periodic price negotiation fordirect and indirect supplies so as to expand supplier base and reduce companycost in production.

-ensure assurance of supplies with minimum inventory levels to ensure orderfulfillment

-manage warehouse operations to achieve Inventory accuracy and ordersfulfillment.

Procurement

• Sourceand identify suppliers for direct/indirect materials/services to expandsupplier base and for new project/production needs.
• Obtainquotes from newly source suppliers to achieve competitive costing and continuouscost reduction
• Lead inconducting periodic price negotiation with suppliers to ensure competencyin cost for materials/services.
• Be partof team to conduct supplier qualification audit as well as partsqualification to ensure suppliers can meet company needs.
• Qualifysuppliers once suppliers are selected in order to add suppliers into theApproved Vendor List.
• Conductsupplier performance review on a regular basis to manage supplier qualifyand updates on suppliers capabilities.
• Maintainstandard operating procedures applicable to the Procurement department toensure work flow process are consistence.
• Developand negotiate favorable supply agreement with suppliers.
• Workwith other department and suppliers to develop appropriate supply chainmodel to ensure assurance of supplies with minimal inventory holdings
• Workwith other department like Engineering/Warehouse to ascertain qualitystandards of items supplied and established Quality plan
• Supervise& train junior staff in leading the team in accomplishing all aboveduties.
• Anyother task/project assigned by management

Purchasing

• DevelopPurchasing strategy for different categories of supplies to ensure on timeorder fulfilment with minimum inventory for direct purchases
• Ensureall indirect purchases needs of company is being fulfilled based on user’sneeds
• ReviewPurchasing strategy periodically with Management to propose change whenmarket trend changes
• Provideperiodic alert and updates to customer (internal/external) to ensure anyissues/delays are promptly highlighted and necessary actions are taken
• Workwith principals/suppliers to ensure goods are delivered on time to fulfillcustomers/company’s needs

Warehousing

• Managewarehouse team to ensure timely receiving/issuance of raw materials
• Managewarehouse team to achieve order fulfillment requirements specific to allcustomer shipments
• Ensureoverall inventory integrity of all goods in warehouse

EDUCATION

o Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience orDiploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 7 years relevant experience
