Job summary

IET Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a School Lab Support Assistant to prepare materials for science lessons, and help run laboratories and outdoor facilities while keeping inventory up to date.

You will assist teachers with artefacts, manage safety, and perform routine duties to support daily school operations, with a focus on teamwork and clear communication.

The role requires basic science background and proficiency in Office tools, and offers routine hours Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE N-Level or equivalent qualification with a Science-related subject.
• Preferably 2 years of admin and operations experience supporting Science activities in a school.
• Able to work in a team and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of video/picture documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; English proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and apparatus to support effective delivery of Science lessons.
• Manage, operate, and maintain science laboratories and outdoor facilities to ensure safety and functionality.
• Conduct regular stocktaking of Science resources to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Curate students’ artefacts to assist teachers in reflecting on learning outcomes.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by the school to support daily operations.
